Home – 100 Years of Surrealism!

6 rooms to discover my works:

Welcome ! I am Marko KAVERNI.

I am opening the doors to my universe in celebration of the centenary of the Surrealist Manifesto, published on October 15, 1924.

Surrealist artists sought to reach a “surreality,” a higher state achieved through automatism, spontaneous writing, and waking dreams.

Here, I present the surrealist drawings I created with the generative AI DALL·E 2 by OpenAI, between June and July 2023, alongside the photographs I captured during that period.

Preview of the Hall of 100 Frescoes ‘Statua Fluida’

On June 1, 2023, I developed an intriguing prompt called ‘Statua Fluida‘. This prompt, designed to generate unique sculptural forms with AI, surpassed all my expectations. By combining automatism and the exquisite corpse technique, ‘Statua Fluida’ seems to immerse the AI in an altered state of consciousness, producing drawings that embody a sense of Eros, an unconscious mind—whether mine, the machine’s, our collective unconscious, or perhaps the “Great Transparent” so dear to André Breton.

I am exhibiting 100 ‘Statua Fluida’ exquisite corpses in the Hall of Frescoes.

In the Petit Salon, you will discover exquisite corpses created with the prompt ‘”‘Virino Klinata Kupolo’.

In the Machine Room, I revisit the development of the ‘Statua Fluida’ prompt when I was drawing with DALL·E on photographs of Dijon (France).

Lastly, I invite you to explore my Pensieve. Through my photographs, you discover my environment and my work with DALL·E.

Head on to the Exit page to learn more about me and to get in touch.
